Custom Ark Console installed at Curt Micol’s studio in Michigan, USA
2 pictures.
The first from 2019, the second from end 2020.
Based on the Ark8 16-48 configuration, this console has integrated patchbay and producer desk.
The 16 channel frame was originally supplied with only channels 9-16 installed.
Channels 1-8 were fully ready, with all motherboards and cabling, but not the modules.
Channels 1-8 became active a year later, when Curt ordered and received the modules and installed them himself by just plugging them in.
This clearly shows what the Ark is about.
You can get almost any configuration you want, and add more channels later (when budget allows).
“I wanted to send an email to say how impressed I have been with the Ark. I did a lot of mixing recently, and the flexibility in workflows with the console are insane. Every approach I attempted had lots of new options with regards to routing. It was such a great time to dive into the board. I had mostly done tracking prior to this. Thanks for such a great product!”
